HHSC implements EVV
Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is implementing EVV effective Jan. 1, 2024, for Medicaid home health care services.
Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is a telephone- and computer-based system that replaces paper time sheets, electronically verifies that service visits occur and documents the precise time service provision begins and ends. EVV replaces paper timesheets for EVV required services. EVV visits are required for EVV claim payment.
